This Privacy Policy explains how BigFollowers (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the website
bigfollowers.in and the BigFollowers Android app (together, the “Service”).
The Android app displays the bigfollowers.in website inside the app, so this policy applies to both.

Information we collect

  • Public usernames you enter. When you use the Service, you may type a public social media username so we can show public profile information and analysis.
  • Usage and device data. We use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used. It may collect data such as pages visited, approximate location, device type, browser or app version, and an anonymous identifier.
  • IP address. Our servers receive your IP address when you connect. We may use it to detect your approximate region and to protect the Service against abuse.
  • Push notifications (Android app). If you allow notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging assigns your installation an anonymous token so we can send app updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in Android settings.
  • Cookies and local storage. We use cookies and your browser’s local storage to remember preferences and keep the Service working.

What we do not collect

The Android app does not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone or precise location.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service (such as Google Analytics and our hosting provider), or when required by law.

Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics retention settings.

Your choices

You can clear cookies and site data in your browser or in the app’s Android settings (Settings → Apps → BigFollowers → Storage → Clear data). You can also contact us to ask about or delete data related to you.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Third-party services

BigFollowers is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
